The State University of Zanzibar (SUZA) is the only public university in Zanzibar established by Act No. B of the House of Representatives of 1999. Since its inception in 2002 it has been expanding in academic programmes as well as student enrolment. Its vision is to be the most preferred University in the Eastern Africa.
SUZA invites applications from suitably qualified and competent Tanzanians to be considered to fill the vacant post:
Qualifications
Holders of Bachelor of Science with Education (B.5e. Ed.) with a GPA of not less than 3.0 in relevant fields.
Must be able to communicate in English fluently~
Basic skills in Microsoft Office Application.
Prior experience in teaching at advanced level will be an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
The main duties will be teaching, measuring progress and keeping progress records in a secure and proper way. Other duties as may be assigned by the Coordinator of the Department of Secondary Education.
Geography/English teacher must be able and ready to teach General Studies (GS).
